The colors will change back and forth depending on the temperature. When the temperature is below 59° degrees Farentheight the color will change to a different solid color (shown as COLD in the color chart). When the temperature is above 59° degrees Farentheight the color will be a solid color (shown as NORMAL in the color chart). This vinyl will come with a very thin protective clear layer that must be peeled off and discarded before cutting your design.
This peel and stick vinyl has a gloss finish with an adhesive backing but is not recommended for permanent long term use outdoors. When the temperature is above 59° degrees Farentheight the color will be a solid white/solid light color (shown as NORMAL in the color chart). Most of the peel and stick adhesive vinyl below will have a very thin layer of clear protective film on top of each sheet that must be removed and thrown away before cutting your design (the UV/SUNLIGHT peel and stick adhesive vinyl will not have a clear protective film). Color changing peel and stick adhesive vinyl will not feel like a normal sheet of peel and stick adhesive vinyl because the backing is not paper and the vinyl feels more like a sheet of HTV.

Depending on which series your purchase, in order to find the true color(s) we strongly suggest putting the vinyl in the freezer/near a heat source/in direct sunlight/in the dark.
When you receive your vinyl the colors may actually be in the middle of transitioning to one color to another depending on the temperature and/or amount of sunlight. We have several different color changing series, from hot to cold, cold to hot, dark to sunlight/UV, sunlight/UV to dark, in HTV heat transfer and also peel and stick adhesive.Įach color chart below will explain the different color changing properties of each series.
